Alert: 50,000 Nepalese Workers towards Malaysia ! Getting
Cheated by Nepal and Malaysian Government and the
Brokers/Frauds !!
Dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends ! Namaste !
Do you know the tragic situation of our Beautiful HIMALAYAN Country Nepal and we
the people of this Country ? Please, switch your mind for a moment and think about it !
Before two months, our King, Queen and all their family were assassinated; and the
Government and so-called Probe Commission of Nepal blamed our late King Dipendra
for the Massacre. But, I met many foreign and Nepalese people in Italy, France,
Canada, etc. during some weeks, no one believe that Dipendra killed all. I met many
European, African, American, Japanese, etc. in some World Conferences; and they
told me that there was a big conspiracy behind the Royal Massacre. Let I stop this
issue now. I will write you details about it after my visit to other some countries and
people. But, at this time, I am going to write about another 'sever cheatings to Nepalese
Workers' in the name of Employment in Malaysia by the Government of Nepal and
Malaysia and the Brokers.
You know, some Industries of Malaysia have demanded 50 thousands Nepalese
workers to do cheaper but risky labour in their companies. They sent their demands to
the Government of Nepal. And the Government call the 'Manpower Agencies (Brokers)'
for gathering the Nepalese Workers. The Agencies published the Advertisements on
Newspapers announcing that the Nepalese Workers will get at least 15-25 thousands
(i.e. US$ 200 - 250) including free accommodation and meals in Malaysia.
Than, because of the unemployment, illiteracy and poverty, thousands of Nepalese
workers/youths contacted the Manpower Agencies . Many Political Brokers became
active to call them from all around the country. The Agencies/Brokers made a demand
of Rs. 90,000/- to 125,000/- (US$ 1200/- to 1700/- ) with those poor Nepalese workers
for getting jobs in Malaysia and told them that they may earn Rs. 30,000/- (US $ 400/-)
with overtime in Malaysia per month.
The illiterate Nepalese trusted to those Brokers and collected the demanded money
(Rs. 90 to 125 thousands) selling their house, land, geld, etc. They deposited their
house and land in the Banks and took the loan to go to Malaysia. They thought that
they would be able to earn money within 4-5 months and could pay all the loans. And
they would earn some thousands dollars within 3 years work in Malaysia.
But, do you know, while they arrived in Malaysia; they got only Rs. 5000/- to 8000/-
(i.e. US $ 70 to 105/- only) per month. They didn't get any food, accommodation and
medical insurances from the Company. They have to eat and live with that much
money !!!
"Oh God ! How much Cheating !! Oh Pashupatinath, what happened to us ....!!!" At this
moment, our Nepalese are getting sever trouble in Malaysia. Their Passport is taken by
the Company for three years. They do not have return ticket to Nepal...... ... ..!!!
I met about 65 Nepalese Workers in Singapore Airlines while coming in Canada. They
were going to Malaysia. They told me that they got two agreement letter in Nepal, one
from Ministry of Labour and another from the Manpower Agency. In the Agreement
with Ministry which was done earlier, the salary was stated about US$ 300-400 per
month. But, while they were moving towards Malaysia, the Manpower Agency gave
them another Agreement Letter in which the Salary was stated US$ 100/- only and that
Agreement was done with the Company in Malaysia. They got it in Airport. One person
from Taplejung District told me, 'The Agency told us to through the letter of Agreement
which we got from the Labour Ministry. It is only to show in Nepal's Airport to get entry.
It is false agreement. And they gave us another Agreement done with Company and
told us to show it at the Airport in Malaysia. We signed at a paper while going to the
Plane. We didn't got time to read the paper where we signed because the Plane was
leaving ... ?!'
One person from Dadeldhura District told, 'I have deposited my home and land in the
Bank to pay the Manpower Agency. I have promised with my Parents that I will pay all
loans within five months, don't Worry ! But, I got this letter here that I will get only Rs.
5000/- (US$ 70/-) per month. What to do ...... !?' He became tearful while telling all
these matter. One Person from Chitawan told, 'It would be better if I go to India. I would
easily earn 3-4 thousands I.C. (US$ 60 to 80) in India. I shouldn't have to take this
amount of loan. How should I pay my loan .... !?' I have not written the name of
persons here because they have told me not to write their name. Anyone can check
that 'there were about 65 Nepalese Workers in Singapore Airlines flight from
Kathmandu on 17 August, 01.'
I have got many emails sent by these Nepalese workers from Malaysia. I have a list of
those Manpower Agencies and Brokers also which I will write later. I am planning to
visit Malaysia once.
This kind of sever cheating rarely takes place in the World. Do you know, many
Nepalese are still coming in Malaysia paying large amount of money. They are waiting
in Kathmandu. Many are paying money to the Brokers at this time too .... !!! And now,
we have to stop them to come to Malaysia. We all have to take immediate Action. I
kindly request all of you, 'Please, send this message to all. Write a letter to the
Government of Nepal and Malaysia to stop cheating to us !! Move to punish those
Brokers who are earning millions Dollars selling we the Nepalese People .... !!!
At this moment, I URGE:
"Oh Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba of Nepal ! Please, stop this kind of sever
cheating ... !!"
"Oh Prime Minister of Malaysia ! Stop Cheating Nepalese Labour in the name of
Employment .. !!"
"Oh Brokers ! Stop Cheating and become ready to accept Punishment !! the Nepalese
People will surely Punish one day and you will not be forgiven by the God too at that
time... !!!"
"Oh My Brother and Sisters ! We the Nepalese are not so cheaper !! Do you know ?
We are the Citizen of our Motherland who has Mr. Everest and who is the mother of
Lord Buddha !!"
"Our Nation is our Motherland ! Please, let we move to develop our Motherland !! Move
to do and die for our Mother !!! She also can become like Japan if we invest our
BLOOD and SWEAT....... !!!"
