( some exceptions may be made .. if you have a plane ticket )


BANGKWANG  ( schedule for non-contact visits )
    Monday  and Wednesday :: buildings : 1-2-3
    Tuesday and Thursday  :: buildings : 4-5-6
    FRIDAY                :: buildings : 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12
                            ( 10 is solitary Confinement, get permission first )

    TIMES : morning       :: 09:30 - 11:30 
            afternoon     :: 13:30 - 14:30

No visits allowed during Weekends ( Saturday & Sunday ) or on National Holidays.
( NOTE : exceptions may be allowed during the annual contact visit at Bangkwang )

It is best to arrive at the registration office least a half hour early.
There is often a large crowd of local Thai people wanting to see their family.

Early visitors enjoy more time to visit and be there when it is not so noisy.


Dates and Times for Contact Visits

Bangkwang Prison usually allows contact visits one time each year.
Visit dates have been in November, December January and February.
Visit days usually include weekends.

Prisoners will be informed of the dates, a few weeks ahead of the time.
The names of those prisoners who qualify for visits will be displayed.
Relatives can check the list of names and then apply for contact visits. 
Food may be shared with the prisoners ... a small picnic is possible!

CONTACT Visit Time: Two hours per visit, twice a day. 

NOTE : THESE are different from the other visit times and durations !!
  Morning    :: 09:00 till 11:00 
  Afternoon  :: 13:00 till 18:00
